It is a building designed for a competition project. Six architectural firms have participated out of which ours has been shortlisted.
The company which is having branches all over the world. Its main objective is to give electricity to the place which is needed. So they would give generator for rental purpose.
And also it is the one of the company which gave electricity to the stadium of Beijing Olympics in China.
I have done Delhi and Chennai factory cum office for the same AGGREKO.
The planning of this building is arranged in such a way that it serves functionally as well as aesthetically.
The gantry crane area was located in the front portion of the site so that trucks can easily load and unload according to the functional manner.
The office building located in the east side of the site. The reason being, the visitors can access the offices easily.
The ETP (Effluent Treatment Plant) and STP (Sewage Treatment Plant) has been provided to maintain the green campus.
There is one existing building which is retained for canteen purpose.
The bunded fuel area is also kept separately to maintain the oil tank. The workshop and the maintenance can be done in separate zone in the site.
The waste water was treated and re-used for the maintenance of landscaping.
The office interiors which consists of 5 manager rooms, 1 pantry, conference room and workstations put together.
The main idea is that the interior should satisfy the functional aspects and the aesthetic aspects.
The conference hall has projector area and display area separately with acoustical treatment done inside.
The reception area denotes the color of orange because the AGGREKO Company’s logo is also in orange color.
The waiting area, reception area have been divided separately according to the functionality.
The elevation which has a concept of segmental arch will emphasize the entry towards the office.
In the planter box, the landscape was shaped according to the lettering of AGGREKO.
