THE AUDIO – VISUAL HALL FOR A MUSIC CAMPUS

• The concept of A (Audio) – V (Visual) lettering has been depicted as a building form based on the client requirement we have taken this concept.
• The entrance façade has a huge wall barrier and lengthy wall which leads the pathway to the entrance façade.
• The INGYANG concept entrance porch will give a refreshed feeling once a person enters because of the positive energy.

• There is a small open air theatre in an appropriate place and a rhythmic landscape pattern with an alternate arrangement of water, grass and pathway.
• The car park has been segregated to reduce the noise effect and control the sound for the inner people.
• To resemble the audio, we have given the keyboard roof structure on the top.

• The organized planning and the zoning development compliment to each other.
• The entrance is designed in a contemporary style. The entrance structure is built by using tensile structures.

• At the entrance one can see a tri-color flag and a grand emblem of KMMC which emphasizes the verticality of the built structures..
• The roads have pathways separating medians for the cars and buses.
• The roads are planted with trees on both the sides.
• This leads to the statue of the legendary musician.
• Taking right from the intersection road, we reach the admin block. The block is designed with contemporary and has all the administrative functions.

• The academic block is designed using musical. This is the new update in Indian architecture.
• Walking through the pathway one can also see the open –air theatre. The OAT is placed in sun as a central focus.

• As one enters the OAT from a spline path, through the entrance which is ornamented with pergolas.
• The OAT is inspired by the green theatre of EPIDORIS. This would accommodate 1500 people with precise acoustics of sound clarity to the last row people.

• When we move from ring 1 to ring 2 we note that the transition space is beautifully landscaped. It also houses facilities such as ATM, and telephone booths. It also houses a space to hold a WINDMILL thus helps in power production and electrical.
• The guest house is a blend of special planning and green building principles. The guest house ensures green principle to have green home.

• The landscapes near the water bodies are found to be the major aesthetic element. These are used in rhythmic sequence to create dramatism and spatial music as they travel through.
• The parking spaces stack over a radial pattern. It is ensured that the given spaces for parking for cars and buses.
• Passing beyond the parking area we enter the area called Rotunda. This separates the parking zone from the residential zone.

• The vista shows the massing of the campus as viewed by the residents of the apartments.
• The windows, balconies of the apartments open to the vista showing the radial master plan that buzzes with the activity.
• This enriches the quality of life.
• The campus also has a prayer hall which is located in a place free from disturbances and covered to have worship.
• Overall the clearly organized master plan incorporates elements between music and architecture.

All the essential master planning techniques such as organized zoning, quality, physical infrastructure, social factors, economic conditions, green consciousness and creative thinking brings out the clear blend of music in architecture.
